About us:

 

We are the Cwmffrwdoer Eco committee, and our job is to support pupils and staff in improving our carbon footprint. We aim to empower learners and the community to make positive changes in their areas/ This can be through recycling or reducing waste or reusing items people would normally throw away. We also encourage others to use the outdoors to help improve their health and wellbeing.

• Promote the use of sustainable materials 

• Teach others how to recycle and reduce their waste

• Provide information on local wildlife and ways to protect the fauna and flora

• Research the latest ways to save energy and implement them

• Promote outdoor learning and forest schools

• Encourage development of local nature areas
